An Update on Bambi and Emitt

If you read our digital annual appeal, you're familiar with the story of Bambi, a blind chihuahua, and Emitt, a Housing Works participant. (If you missed that story, it's at the bottom of this email!). We now have an update!

At the end of December, Housing Works advocated for permission to have Bambi visit Emitt in hospice over the weekend in an effort to start bridging the reunification process between the two. After that weekend, Bambi continues to remain with Emitt permanently!
 
Bambi’s foster family, Ana and Adam, have continued to keep tabs on Bambi and offer their continued support as needed. We couldn’t have done it without them!
