Ann-Sophie Morrissette has spent nearly 20 years leading strategic communications for nonprofits, foundations and corporations. She currently works at Netflix, managing internal communications for 8000 employees globally. Previously, she was Vice President at the communications agency Fenton, supporting clients on issues ranging from homelessness, early childhood education, the census, and arts education. As Director of Communications & Policy for the Downtown Women's Center, she led the organization's efforts to make the crisis of women's homelessness visible and garner lawmaker support for housing solutions. In her former life, she was an unabashed "theater nerd" working in both communications and development positions at Center Theatre Group and Cornerstone Theater Company, as well as supporting independent productions in London. She is a proud board member of Housing Works and supporter of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Ann-Sophie lives in Eagle Rock with her wife and cat Bailey.
