HO HO HOUSING WORKS!
Kick start the holidays with Housing Works, California and a reading of
Truman Capote’s A CHRISTMAS MEMORY
by Michael Kearns, Dale Raoul, and Raymond Thompson. Featuring live music by the “Fruitcakes” and a children’s choir, along with free refreshments.
This event is family friendly and LGBTQ friendly.
Traditionally a donation of a gift card in ANY amount to Target or a grocer is suggested as we try to raise funds for our clients’ benefit. This year we are opening the event free to anyone who would like to learn more about our organzation, or the homeless crisis in Los Angeles. If you would like to learn more prior to the event, please read the article by Steve Lopez featured in the LA Times about our work and staff: http://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-1030-lopez-hollywood-homeless-20161028-story.html
Hope to see you there!!!
Can’t attend, but would love to support us? Consider a cash donation!
Please RSVP so we may order enough refreshments for all.
